Professional Shed Removal in Gallatin
Sheds are one of the most common jobs we do in Gallatin. Years of Tennessee humidity, termites and storms take a toll on wood sheds, and metal sheds rust through at the seams. Once a shed starts leaning, leaking or housing critters, removing it is usually cheaper and safer than repairing it.
We handle sheds of every type and size: small garden sheds, 10x12 and 12x16 storage buildings, lean-tos, kit sheds and metal sheds. For barns and large outbuildings, we refer you to a trusted partner. If the shed is still full, we can empty it first and haul the contents in the same trip.
How Your Shed Removal Project Works
Free quote
Send a photo or two through the form, or we come out and look. We'll ask about size, what it's made of, what's still inside it and what sits underneath.
Scheduling
Most shed removals are scheduled within a few days. If there's power to the shed, it needs to be disconnected before we start, and we'll tell you if that's the case.
Tear-down
We remove the roofing first, then walls and framing, working top-down so nothing collapses unpredictably. Most standard sheds take two to four hours.
Floor and base
We pull up the floor, skids and blocks. If there's a concrete slab and you want it gone, we break it up and remove it too.
Cleanup
Everything is loaded and hauled away. We rake the area and run a magnetic sweeper to grab stray nails and screws so the yard is safe for kids, pets and mowers.
How to Prepare
- Remove anything you want to keep from the shed, or tell us what to save
- Let us know if the shed has electricity or water run to it
- Clear a path from the shed to the driveway or street if possible
- Let your HOA know if your neighborhood requires notice for exterior work
What Affects the Price
Shed removal pricing depends on the size of the shed, what it's built from, whether there's a concrete slab, how full it is, and how close we can park our trailer. A small, empty wood shed near the driveway costs far less than a large shed in the back corner of a fenced yard with a slab underneath. We give you a firm price before any work starts.
Shed Removal FAQ
Do I need a permit to remove a shed in Gallatin?
Most small accessory buildings without utilities do not need a demolition permit, but rules change. If the shed has electrical service or is large, we'll help you check with the City of Gallatin Codes Department first.
Can you remove a shed that has already collapsed?
Yes. Collapsed and storm-damaged sheds are common jobs. We just sort the debris and haul it away.
Can you take the concrete slab too?
Yes. Slab removal is an add-on. Let us know and we'll include it in your quote.
