Professional Landscape Removal in Gallatin
Landscaping that looked great 20 years ago can become overgrown, block windows, trap moisture against your foundation and hide pests. Before a new landscape design can go in, the old one has to come out, roots and all.
We remove overgrown shrubs and bushes, small trees and their root balls, dead plants, landscape rock and river rock, old mulch, landscape fabric, edging, railroad ties, timbers, small block retaining walls, garden beds and old sod. We stick to removal and hauling. Large tree removal and stump grinding are best left to a licensed tree service, and we're happy to coordinate with one.
How Your Landscape Removal Project Works
Walk-through
We walk the beds with you and mark exactly what goes and what stays. Plants you want saved are flagged.
Utility marking
Tennessee 811 marks buried lines before we dig out root balls. We also ask about sprinklers, landscape lighting and invisible pet fences.
Clearing
Plants are cut down, then roots are dug out. Rock and mulch are shoveled out and separated for disposal.
Hardscape removal
Timbers, ties, edging and small walls are taken apart and removed.
Final cleanup
We rake the beds smooth, blow off walkways and driveway, and haul everything away.
How to Prepare
- Decide which plants you'd like to keep or transplant
- Mark sprinkler heads and lighting with flags if you can
- Move hoses, decor and furniture out of the beds
- Let your landscaper know our schedule if they're installing next
What Affects the Price
Pricing depends on how many plants and how big they are, how deep the roots go, how much rock or mulch there is (rock is very heavy), and how far the beds are from where we park. Removing a few foundation shrubs is a quick job, and a whole-yard renovation takes longer.
Landscape Removal FAQ
Do you remove large trees?
We remove small trees and shrubs. For large trees and stump grinding, we recommend a licensed, insured tree service, and we can haul the debris afterward.
Can you save some of my plants?
Yes. We flag plants to keep and work carefully around them.
Can you remove river rock?
Yes. Rock is heavy, so it's priced by volume, but we remove it completely, along with the fabric underneath.
